The Absolut Stella Project is a new 4-page ad, ©2002, used to launch fashion
designer Stella McCartney's new line of clothing. It features a sultry,
minimally-clothed women by figurative painter David Remfry from the UK.
Stella is the daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, the former Beatle, and his late wife, Linda.
ABSOLUT STELLA (1) is what I call the first painting; it shows a women in
panties, wearing a big, gray sweater, unzippered from the top and the bottom;
ABSOLUT, outlined in dots, is printed across the front. |
